To provide preaching scholarships to students committed to pulpit ministries; and to encourage young Christians to commit full-time pulpit ministry in the Kingdom of God.
Our Vision
However, there is a shortage in pulpit ministers graduating from our Christian colleges and universities and, as a result, many of our churches are having difficulty finding men to fill their pulpits. We also know that costs for higher education are increasing every year, putting an immediate strain on students and potentially establishing a long term financial debt.
The traditional role of family encouragement, Sunday school classes, and church camps helping to define and direct a pathway for young men to commit to and enter preaching ministries has dwindled. There is a need to establish and encourage new pathways.
This is what Legacy can provide; a new pathway to help students start and finish their Biblical education for the local church.
The local body of believers is, by and large, the most effective way for both discipleship and evangelism. This building up of the body requires teachers and preachers of the Gospel.

The Legacy Fund has provided individual scholarships since the Fall 2019 semester and through the Spring semester of 2021 will have provided $30,000 of scholarship funds for future pulpit ministers.
You can be a part of helping these students not only find some peace regarding finances, but give them the opportunity to go to school and complete these much needed degrees.
Donations can be for immediate scholarships or directed to the endowment fund investments for future scholarships financed from the dividend and interest created by the investments. Donations can be made with in-kind equities, often for beneficial tax advantages to the donor, or real property can be donated for sale and investment in the fund. Estate planning services and coordination of donations are also available through our Registered Investment Advisor.
The Legacy Endowment Fund for Preaching Scholarship, Inc., is established to provide financial assistance to students in Christian colleges and universities who are committed to full-time preaching ministries in Christian Churches across the country.
