There are several ways to make donations to The Legacy Fund. Cash (checks) or credit cards, in-kind transfer of stocks and equities, items of real property such as real estate and cars, can all be donated to The Legacy Fund.

All donations are tax-exempt as Legacy Fund is a 501c(3) organization as determined by the Federal IRS guidelines.
The Legacy Endowment Fund can accept equities and shares of stock ‘in-kind’ by direct transfer into the Fund’s investment account. Transaction of this type can often benefit the donor with tax and estate planning benefits. The Legacy Endowment Fund has investment accounts that donors can transfer equities and shares of stock into. The transaction is typically made between two trade accounts held by custodians, one for the donor and one for The Legacy Fund.

How it Works
Donate online
REAL PROPERTY CONTRIBUTION
Many items, such as real property, automobiles, boats, special collections, and so much more, can be donated to Legacy Fund. This often helps donors with tax and estate planning and Legacy Fund will convert the item into cash for deposit into the Fund’s account. The items will be sold and the receipts from the sale will be deposited in the general fund. Please contact us for more information.
