The Legacy Preaching Fund was founded by Joe Wilson from a passion to see that the preaching of the Word of God is sustained and maintained in the local body of believers. This desire grew to helping fund pulpit preachers’ education and help encourage and sustain their work at their college or university. The lasting effects of Biblical teaching in the local church can be made possible in part through this fund.
As a preacher himself, he saw the needs of preachers and wanted to find a way to fulfill those needs. He knew the harvest field was plentiful but the workers are few. So his passion was to help ease the burden for preachers so they can go into all the world to preach the gospel. He was always about His Father's work. He gave to others and gave to the work of the Lord.
